Have you ever wished to change your current state of mind? To flip a magical switch and make it just go away?

It’s not so easy to shift states of consciousness, be it moods, emotions, or more permanent states like depression, once we are fully immersed in them. We might not even be aware of it. Only when we recognize that we are in an unresourceful state we have a chance to also step out of it.  No matter if we are bored, angry, anxious, down, in a state of deep bodily exhaustion, or feel overwhelmed, there is a way to switch the lens through which we see the world and the people around us.

My way is to bring people together and share, reflect and mirror our experiences. Through the honest deep exchange with like-minded people in a steady group, you have the chance to often learn faster and notice patterns we are usually not aware of. You will learn 3 simple techniques to handle disturbing emotions in a conscious way to ultimately shift them into more resourceful states like being joyful, calm, connected to others, and at ease.

On top you will learn how to use meditation to let go of your emotions and fixed ideas. If you are able to focus more and on the present moment and not on the future or the past you will feel lighter and the “spinning mind” can calm down. To get familiar with that state of mind, we will end each session with a guided meditation together. You will experience different types of meditations: Calming mind, energizing mind, and expanding love and compassion for oneself and others.

From one session to the next, you will meditate, observe your different states of mind and apply what you have learned.  With 10-30 minutes of practice a day, you are likely to make real progress over the time of the course.

Finally, If now is the time for you to go deeper in a group of like-minded explorers who wish to understand the challenges that we are all facing, please join us.  I draw from 35 years of experience in meditation, which will give the tone of this course. There is no need for you to have previous experience with meditation and you are very welcome if you have.

This course is introducing

  • How to open up to the constant change we are facing

  • How to let go and shift unpleasant states of mind

  • How to calm down your nervous system and make it more resilient

  • How to handle disturbing emotions like anger, fear, or jealousy in a skillful way

  • How to meditate

  • Which meditations are useful in which state of mind
